How To Create Org Units in SAP TM (Transportation Management)
4) Important Org Units –
Sales Org (Shipper Scenario Mandatory/Forwarding Order)
Sales Office(Freight Forwarder Scenario Mandatory)
Sales Group (Can be used for Forwarding Order not Mandatory)
–> Sales Org in ECC is for selling of goods whereas Sales Org in TM is for planning and executing Transportation Order
PORG / PGROUP (Used for Freight Order/Freight Booking , Service PO creation in ECC)
–> Freight Order is a sub-contracting document and is required for Freight Settlement
–> In ECC there is no direct link between PORG and PGROUP but in TM there is a direct link.
Planning Execution Org / Planning Execution group (Used for Creation of Freight Order/Freight Booking using Transportation Planning)
